Lovely amber ale. Banana, floral and grapefruit notes. I like a nice bitter finish, this didn’t disappoint (and in fact was a bit over the top!) Still a very worthwhile pint that kept my tongue guessing.

Malty taste with nuts, toffee, toast and a slightly earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Quite enjoyable.

Cask at The Friend at Hand in London. Pours golden amber with a white head. Light flora and caramel aromas. Med body. It’s nicely bitter. Flavor seems floral with somewhat spicy malt. Or vice versa. Or coffee? Bit complicated in the end. Nice for a break.

Cask at the Gunmakers - London. Pours clear yellow with a moderate, pure white head. Dry, pale bread in the nose, some cereal, hay. Medium sweet flavor with further pale, bready malts, touches of citrusmlike lemon and orange, a bit of cereal, hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition. Good balance to finish, more of the same, dry pale malts, mild crunchy biscuits, low bitterness, faint toasty grass, cereal grains, lightly toasted sugars, hints of lemon merengue. Very tasty, well made beer.
