Lovely amber ale. Banana, floral and grapefruit notes. I like a nice bitter finish, this didn’t disappoint (and in fact was a bit over the top!) Still a very worthwhile pint that kept my tongue guessing.

Cask at The Friend at Hand in London. Pours golden amber with a white head. Light flora and caramel aromas. Med body. It’s nicely bitter. Flavor seems floral with somewhat spicy malt. Or vice versa. Or coffee? Bit complicated in the end. Nice for a break.

Medium sweet flavor with further pale, bready malts, touches of citrusmlike lemon and orange, a bit of cereal, hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great condition.
