Hand-pulled cask pint on 28th Sep 2018; Crown Inn, Oakengates, Shropshire. Black bodied, tanned foaming head. Sadly I found this bland, thin and boring. Plenty of over roasted malts, but it lacked depth and flavour. First beer from these guys I haven't enjoyed.

Cask-conditioned at the Knights Templar (JDW), Bristol 27/7/2018. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Some flabby malts, touch of stone fruits and leafy hops, leading to a moderately bitter finish. So so.

14/4/2018. Cask at the Elm Tree, Cambridge. Pours slightly hazy golden colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of peach, apricot, banana, citrus, hop and light caramel. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a rough edge. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Bitter and slightly unpleasant finish. Decent aroma let down by taste.
