bottle at Delirium in Brussels - Pours dark brown and has a malty, spicy aroma. The flavor is sweet malt, spice, and yeast. It’s medium to full bodied and very enjoyable. Abbaye des Rocs does not disappoint.

Medium white head. Amber body with a whole fleet of submarines. Strong bready raspberry aroma with woolen socks aroma. Dry-sweet strong raspberry and bread taste with spicy plastic notes. Fullish body. Clean, fresh palate. Dryish woolen herbal raspberry aftertaste. Excellent! (0.75l bottle from gr0ve.)

Sampled from a 750 ml green bottle this beer poured a dark orange-brown color with a large tan head. The aroma was tart apple and sugar. The flavor was tart, tangy and bitter with notes of apple and caramel and a hint of vinegar. The finish was medium length tart apple vinegar. Ok.

Bottle. Look: Super hazy orange body with a white head. Smell: Spices, honey. Typical wit smell. Taste: Big spicy taste. Belgian yeast. Short taste. Overall: Medium bodied. Fairly good, but boring.

33cl bottle. lively as most belgians, but not too lively, i managed to pour before it gushed. extreme amounts of floaties in the glass, and unbelievable number of small and BIG floaties in the bottle. the bottom 1.5cm of the bottle is one big pile of floaties of frigthening sizes. never seen anything like this. if this is my laste rate, this beer killed me!. nice thick head, and nice amber colour. spicy/pepery/sour aroma. nice. flavor is also spicy, not sour. nice flavor. i think i’ll chicken out and drainpour the rest. this beer is alive!. biggest floatie is 2cm x 1cm x 0.4cm!! and i’m not hungry.

750 mL bottle from Bruisin Ales. Pours a slightly hazy red color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of pineapple, citrus, berries, other fruits, spice. Very fruity taste with citrus, grape notes and a bit of a vegetal nature. Tart finish. Full bodied.

750 mL bottle courtesy of StlWill. This was on my wantlist forever. Thanks! Best by 14/02/2011. Valentines day... how sweet! Pours a dark reddish brown color. Cloudy with huge floaties. Large frothy head with good head retention and some lacing, though the glass seems to be coating more by floatie sludge than last. Aroma of earthy malts, chocolate, brown sugar, bread, crayons, light fruit notes including cherry and apple. Taste is decidedly more fruity with definite notes of cherry, berries, apple, apricot. Also brown sugar, yeast, toffee, spice and almost sherrylike notes. Full bodied. The floaties definitely make their presence known on the palate. Very soft carbonation. All in all a very nice beer. 8/3/9/3/16

Aroma of slight funk, berries, cherries and raisins. Taste is caramel, other malty notes and light berry notes. Medium bodied. 8/4/9/4/17

Sample at La Chatelaine. The beer is a murky ruddy brown color with a medium tan head that recedes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruits and malt, plus notes of caramel and yeast. The finish is fruity with yeast and earthy malt left over. Good all around.
