Hand pulled half pint at the Station Hotel, Oakengates on 8th December 2025, with Bertie, Margie, Auntie Sue, Ant and Maureen. Clean golden pour, white head. I assume this is a single hop (Belma) Blonde. It was fruity with a mild orange/citrus aroma and initial taste, became more bitter as it warmed and I sipped my way through it.

Cask at Fighting Cock, Bradford - Deepest brown body, off white top. Straight down the middle stout, decent roasted notes, rich and malty caramel, lots of dark burnt cake fruits in there too. Nice solid effort.

1/3 pint cask @ Craft Beer Co - Aldgate.

The 'Warrior' Kyren Wilson has just been whitewashed by Shaun Murphy in their snooker match in China today. This 'warrior' is a golden-blonde wash in colour. Nice and hoppy as you expect from a single hop brew, and with a session strength and texture.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 20th September 2025. Clear gold with shallow whitish foam and scant lacing. Light fruity aroma. Nutty malts and zesty citrus peel in-mouth, and a finish of grassy bitterness alongside citrus zest. Medium to full bodied with an engaging texture.

Fra cask på Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer lenge. Florale toner, litt urter og gress. Lett bitterhet med ganske tørr avslutning.

The first thing I ate today, on Good Friday was a Hot Cross Bun - only as one was available in my bread bin, nothing ritualistic involved. Pictish however are very ritualistic about their single hopped beers, and as I've had so many of them from them, it always surprises me when one pops that's new, especially an established hop like this one. It's a lovely hoppy brew too, nice and clean tasting, also a session ale.

Oldham Beer Festival 2025, beer number 2 of the afternoon. Clear golden, strongish on paper but its crispness hides much of this. Hopped beer with hints of fruit.
