Bottle at Cottage Loaf, Thurstaton. Appearance - deep pink ( stewed rhubarb) colour. No head. Nose - very sweet and confected rhubarb. Taste - more rhubarb sweets. Some hint of creamy custard but mainly rhubarb sweets. Not as confected as the nose implied though. Palate - light to medium bodied. Sweet midden, fairly sweet finish. Overall - it grew on me.

Bottle in Hackney, thanks to Dan. It pours clear orange - amber with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, tangy, juicy apple and candied fruits. The taste is dry, bitter, tart, tangy, sweet, sugary, apple skin, tannin and golden delicious with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not bad actually. Drinks easier than it should.

Bottle from Tesco, Manchester. Golden cider with toffee extremely potent and dominating its taste, as such it's extremely sweet.

330ml bottle from Home Bargains. Pink colour, with a pinkish white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of custard, vanilla, rhubarb. Taste is spice, cinnamon, apple pie, sweetish sugary with rhubarb and custard notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi-dry finish. Kind of OK.

500ml bottle. Pours hazy pink with a small head. Aroma is tart rhubarb and sweet custard. Taste has custard and pear to start. Custard finish with a rhubarb aftertaste. Could be a bit tarter but it's filth and I love it.

500ml bottle from Ken Warne, Darlington. Very pale yellow colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of coconut, fruity. Taste is coconut flavouring, sweet and sugary, with light fruity & lime notes. Syrupy mouthfeel, spritzy carbonation, semi-dry with residual sweetness at the finish. Abit of a strange combination.
