Description
Hello and welcome to Brothers Cider, the home of the original festival cider. We are Francis, Jonathan, Matthew and Daniel and for 14 generations, since 1658, when uncle Gabriel first sold his barrels around Wells, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury, our family has strived to make light, refreshing ciders using a variety of fruit. We are constantly exploring new recipes and love to get your feedback on our latest creations.

We first started selling our Pear Cider at the Glastonbury Festival in 1995 near what was then called the Jazz World Stage. These days it is called The West Holts Stage but our bar is still in the same place. Over the years, festival goers kept asking us if it was possible to get our drink when the festival was over and so we decided to market it to pubs and supermarkets. Now you can get it all over the country and at other festivals besides Glastonbury. See you at the bar!

A really nice and tasty cider. A little bit different from the usual suspect.
Cloudy yellow color with a fine white top. Tart apples and mild citric aroma and flavor. Nice pleasant acidity. Medium body and a fine carbonation.
[On tap at Babbity Bowster in Glasgow, Scotland]

Fresh lemon cider. The lemon is a bit too artificial. The cider is far away in the aftertaste, the lemon is sweetish and a bit too artificial. Sticky on the tongue. Much more lemonade than cider.

On tap at the Green Dragon. Appearance - cloudy golden with a steady flow of bubbles. Nose - sweet but fresh apples. Taste - sweet apples verging on pears. Palate - close to medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - yeah, felt the need to have another so can’t be bad.

Bottle: Poured a clear deep golden color cider with light carbonation. Aroma of fresh sweet apple juice is OK. Taste is dominated by sweet apple juice notes with very little complexity and easy drinkability. Body is somewhat full with oily texture. Nothing to write home about but still enjoyable.
