Shared can, as ESCA5E Triple Kveik NEIPA, at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 9.3%. Hazy yellow colour. Distinctly spicy aroma and flavour, also notes of citrus, tropical fruits and pine needles. Enjoyable.

Mi2 på Cardinal, og Luis er på besøk medbringende et knippe canadiske øl fra sitt emporium, de fleste er 0,473 bokser: uklar gyllengul med tett skum som varer lenge. Tropiske frukter, søt citrus og furunål. Fin bitterhet. Mye appelsin og litt krydder i den saftige avslutningen. Høyt innhold av humørstyrkende virkestoffer, uten at det virker påtrengende. Salikatt-kvalitet over denne!

A deep dark brown stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, light cacao, vanilla, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, light vanilla, cacao, alcohol warmth, pleasant. Can at Oktoberfest de Repentigny 2025.

A hazed golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. Can at Oktoberfest de Repentigny 2025.

Small sample from shared 473 ml cans at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal, Stavanger. Reddish amber colour, darker than most tripels, off-white head. Distinct spicy aroma and flavour of Belgian ale yeast, hints of burnt breadcrumbs.

A slight haze, orange colour with a golden hue, a big frothy-creamyish, warm-whitish head with good retention. Some very lively tiny bubble carbonation and thick lacing left. The Kveik yeast give a nice tropical fruit nose with a touch of funk, and hints of citrus. Gets a little hazier as it pours, and some smaller particles float around. Even getting some vanilla-oak, which continues in the flavours with the fruitiness. A smooth mouthfeel with the alcohol well-hidden, and a tad, slow building dryness. Quite a nice, interesting, Imperial NEIPA with the Kveik adding a fruity side, and more.
