Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry, modest fine carbonation. Light malts, not that sweet. Mild sulphur. Light but bitter marmalade. Dry floralness in the dry finish. Sulphur turning me off.

Bottle from the little supermarket at Mawgan Porth, north-west of Newquay. Deep gold with a thin white head. Possibly a tad too fizzy. Mild but tasty tropical fruits followed by lemon and mandarin. Sweetish but with just enough bitterness to make it very satisfying and more-ish. A great golden ale. Thanks!

Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - deep amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - toffee, fudge caramel - somewhere in that zone. Touch of chocolate. Taste - caramel and spicy biscuits. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - solid but not special.

part of my 2013 backlog, and tried at the 2013 peterborough festival. The beer has a golden colour with a small head. Aroma has pine and sweetness. The taste also has a pine hoppiness.
