9/5/2022. Bottle from Raise The Bar, Chapel en le Frith. Pours clear golden with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, orange, caramel, sultanas, straw, initial slight buttery edge. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Soft carbonation. Pretty good.

Cask at the Cock Tavern. Hazy deep amber beer, small pale tan head. A mellow streak of dark chocolate in the malts. Smooth smoke. Mild dark fruits coming through on the back end. Smooth finish. A mellow affair for a smoked beer.

440ml can from Beer District, Buxton. Pours a clear golden amber, medium white head. Bitter hop nose. Quite bitter overall with some floral fruity moments in the background. Ok

14/7/2021. Cask at the Cheshire Cheese, Hope. Pours almost clear pale golden with a small fluffy white head. Aroma is citrusy, floral, straw, malt, touch of vanilla. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Has a subtle bitter spiced finish. Very nice pint, one of the best on this trip.

23/6/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers! Pours slightly hazy pale golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of grain, citrus, flowers, malt, touch of herb and spice. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, quite fizzy. It’s okay.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to SHIG. A mostly clear dull gold straw coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet earthy cereal grains, some banana, straw, rustic grains, light apple, sweaty hops. Flavour is composed of earthy grains, straw, grass, hedgerow hop, some sweet cereals. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, mellow carbonation. Rustic. Doesn't really drink like to kolsch though.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 15/06/21. Lightly hazed golden orange with a good sized white head that retains well. Nose is pale malts, grass, herb, toasted grains, cereals. Taste comprises pale malts, bread dough, grass, light herb, lemon rind, cereals. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, light drying close. Decent Kolsch.

Can: Poured a carbonated yellow with a white colored head. Aroma is sweet, malty, yeasty, spices. Taste is sweet, grassy, light spice, soft hops, grainy.

Cask at the The Three Stags Head, Wardlow Mires, 17/09/20. Golden amber with a white head that retains well. Nose is malt forward, dried fruits, hint of caramel, sugars. Taste comprises fruit loaf, soft malts, orange peel, mixed fruit esters. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop trace. Decent.

Danke an minutemat. Dunkler, süßlich schokoladiger Beginn. Geringe aber erkennbare Bitterkeit, cremig, würzig. Intensiv malziger Mittelteil, Whiskey, ziemlich trocken. Geringe Karbonisierung, langer schokoladiger Nachhall. 9/12/13/13/12/13
