Bottle at CBJ tasting, thanks to LKS. Clear deepish gold beer, decent bubbly off white head. Airy palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Acetic tartness unfortunately rather dominates what could be some nice grapes. What there is tastes rich and smooth but acetic rules the roost

750ml bottle I bought to go from The Roost. Pours a lovely, clear, garnet red with some creamy, pinkish head. Lovely nose, cherry, raspberry, concord grape, a little cough syrup. Flavor is nicely grapey and only mildly tart. There's a heft to the body that's felt. Malt. Maybe some wheat, though it's far from grassy. Dried cherry and some bright raspberry on the tongue. Medium high carbonation helps with the body, that might have otherwise felt stodgy. Dry, mildly tart. There's a lovely minerality to it reminiscent of Lambrusco. Well made.

Tap at BeerGeek. Thin body, light carbo. High sourness, med-light tartness, med-light bitterness, low sweetness.very dry feeling. Honestly I have a hard time distinguishing any of the herbal nuances here. There is shitload of wild barnyard character, horsey, hay, grassy. A hint of zesty citruses maybe. But this is definitely worth the price tag it commands. Now. As I have this written out, I slowly begin to get the bergamot and herbal spiciness. Wtf, the 1 dcl sample was already sitting here for 30 mins to warm up. I needed to get used to it too apparently. Do not have enough to rate properly anymore though. Maybe next time.good one though.

Bottle, at the March 2025 DCBeer share. Poured a pretty looking, slightly hazy orange color with a small, wispy head. Aroma was big, dusty peaches, light tart apricots. Flavor was big, juicy tart, slightly acidic, vinous apricots. Nice tartness, quite tasty. Slightly sweet. Finish. Really good. Some fruity acidic character.

Pours clear bronze into a tulip. White head with excellent retention recedes to coat surface. Apricot, peach and tart aspirin funk aromas. Crisp with sweet meadow, oak and tart apricot upfront turning quickly to lactic aspirin before the lasting band aid finish.
