Dark brown with copper hue. Small moka head. Roasted malts and hops come out well. Choclates notes with pleasant west coast hops comming out, nutty , and I agree with with the precedent rater, more like a brown ale in taste. Very pleasant and good body.

Copper-brown colour (too light). Metallic, roasty aroma. Thin body. Roast is noted but muted. Like doughnut shop coffee.

Golden coloured body with a soapy, short-lasting white head. Aroma of blueberries and strong sweetness/frruity essences along with a mild hoppiness and some malt (seemingly wheat). Light-bodied; Strong blueberry flavour with not much else-very weak and no palate to speak of at all. Quick flavour which lasts for a few seconds and fades to nothing. Overall, a disapointment, but pretty much expected from this brewery. I bought this 12 ounce bottle at Trader Joe’s in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia for $.80 on 30-April-2004 so I really can’t complain!

Black, small fast fading tan head. Great chocolate coffee nose. Light chocolate and roast flavor with dry malt slightly watery ending

Sweet floral/citrus/malt scent, and a smooth, tangy taste. Nice, simple beer, brewed more like an English IPA than an American. Too malty for my IPA taste.

Clear yellow beer with white head. Nice biscuity aroma, which comes in the mouth too, with very balanced sgharp german hops. Good body fro a lager.

I found this to be a very run-of-the-mill porter. Nothing about this one grabbed me and said "BUY a 6-pack of me, to take me home, to take up room in the fridge, to show me off, to savor me, to want more when I am gone." Nope... this one was ordinary. Black, tiny head. Peppery scent... bitter taste, nothing new here... nothing original here. Tell ya what, spend the extra buck on the interesting sounding porter, this one's not worth it.

I had quite a different idea about this beer when I bought it... I thought it'd be thick and dark (mud). Instead I got a medium brown beer that has the aroma and flavor of being roasted. This is a decent beer, but I probably wouldn't buy it again soon.

Pours clear red with a thin film of off-white carbonation. Sweet, bready aroma. Flavor is sweet and bordering on cloying but contains a nice array of caramel, bread, fruit, and chocolate notes. Earthy hops are light but evident. Nice complexity but something about the beer screams "sugar water;" this beer would be better if it had a toasty, dry bite balancing the sweetness.

Orangey-amber colour. Aroma is woody, slightly lemony. Toasted malts and citric hops are present, but the overall effect is underwhelming.
