Bottle. Dark brown. Orange flavors, with nice lacing on the head. Sweet, with a good roasted malt flavor. Very sour as well with a blast of cherries. Finish is slightly bitter.

Bottle. Very white and foamy head. Light yellow body. Decent, and has a very nice spice aroma and flavor. With me it’s a hit or miss with many tripels, but this one was very nice.

Bottle. At first I had no idea what to think of this beer. Sour, and very bitter. But after a while, the beer was a very interesting mix that I was not faimiar with. Very acidic.

Bottle. Roasted Malts, that’s about all I can say, other than how wonderful this beer is. Caramels, slight chocolate tones.

Bottle picked up at the Little Beer Shop, Ludlow, Salop 10-03-07. A much tastier and better beer than it’s stablemate the Pilaarbijter Bruin that I’d had a day or two ago. Like the other beer it was very lively and great care is to be taken in pouring this beer as it seems hell bent on getting out of the bottle. The beer poured a hazy light golden colour with a large fluffy white head similar to that which you get with a Duvel. The comparisons with Duvel didn’t stop there as I thought that like the Duvel the strength of this beer was always apparent and it too had a yeasty character to it, it also had a definite spiceiness and like the contributor before me I also got coriander along with some exotic fruits in this. A decent beer worth seeking out again.

11.3 oz bottle. Purchased in 6 pack with other Petrus beers. Hazy redish color, with thick white head. Sweetness and honey flavors. For some reason I haven’t been a huge fan of blondes, but this one wasn’t bad at all.

11.3 oz bottle. Purchased in 6 pack with other Petrus beers. Nice hazy orange body with a small white head. Winterish spices. I actually thought it was decent, and while not necessiarly something I would think about purchasing if I had other options, it wasn’t bad.

Picked up at the ’Little Marches Beer Shop’, Ludlow, Salop, 10-03-07. Poured a cloudy brown colour with off white head. Aroma was slightly yeasty, taste was sort of sweet and sour, definate tang to it, but malty and fruity as well. Not my favourite but not bad all the same.

250ml bottle. A hazy orange/pink body with a pink head. Aroma and flavor is just synthetic raspberry drops. I can’t really find anything else here. It’s just a sticky liquid.

330ml bottle. Slightly hazy deep mahogany body with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasty malt. Flavor is sweet, malt, lightly roast, raisin with just a little faint hint of the cellar character from Petrus oude bruin. Nice, but a bit “just malty” character.
