Dark amber color; huge frothy head. Aroma of sugar and caramel, with a sour touch. Medium body structure, with a residual malty sweetness, caramel; at the end there is an ordinary bitterness and some light burnt sugar. Obvious.

Poured an orangish/red with white fast dissapaiting head. Smell was of a rasberry and other mixed fruits. Sweet fruit flavor at first with a grainy finish.

Bottled 25cl (BB 05/2008). Cherry red, small off-white head. Woody, rye malty aroma. Carbonated mouthfeel. Malty, rye and berry -like flavors. Long malty aftertaste, some metallic hints too. Cheap feeling here.

Bottled 25cl (BB 04/2007). Hazy light ruby red, hugh cloudy off-white head. A bit metallic and berry sweet aroma, like Grandma’s currant juice. Quite thin fruity palate, a bit foamy. Some hops in the finish. A bit too simple to blow your mind and not really a winter beer.

Bottle at De Zolder, Bruges. Bottled as Ezel Wit 5.8%. Looks like a wheat beer, golden hazy, with thin white head. Spicy ornage aroma. Bit nutty, but overall pretty bland. Some citrus on end. Bit of sourness.

Bottle at De Zolder, Bruges. Hazy pale gold with thick white head. Belgian yeast and good citrus aroma. Quite full in mouth. Goodish citrus, nice refreshing beer, drinkable. Hides alcohol well. Bit of spice on end.

Bottled 33 cl (BB 06/2008). Ruby red color, good off-white head. Nose has sour fruityness and metal. Grassy hoppy flavor, then sourness. Long aftertaste is again hoppy and sour. Slightly metallic. Quite balanced as a sour ale.
