Description
Foam. It's always been an unconscious calling like drifting into a cumulus cloud bank on a sun-drenched day, or collapsing in a frothy curl of a breaking wave. Foam; it's natural beauty that rises up and is here and gone in a moment in time. I have spent my working life in foam, beer foam that is, brewing beer, conjuring up mixtures of malt and hops to ferment into a crowning moment of beer. Great beer has always sat under foam. Foam. It's not one ingredient that gives stability; it's many interwoven to create a structure of strength pouring out visual excitement. As I sit for a time, I enjoy that moment. All that remains is the lacing that adorns the empty glass and the making of a great memory. Until next time, see you under the Foam...

Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange haziness with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: pineapple to mango to papaya hop notes with a light creamy whiff underneath
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to lean towards more of tropical fruity sweet vibe while seemingly keeping the creamy/lactose thing a bit more at bay; finishes about the same way
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper a bit; good smoothness with nothing there distracting; good low carb and low hop bitterness
Overall: if this is a milkshake IPA then it's one of the better ones out there as I'm glad the vanilla/lactose thing didn't become overbearing as many of this style tend to, so yes, I would return to this one.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange color with a little bit of that "cardboard" looking haze to it; a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely and left some light lace
Aroma: pineapple to super sweet mango tones with a floral to lemony middle and a creamy sweet lactose/vanilla intertwining
Flavor: seems full meshed between the fruits and creamy lactose/vanilla sweetness; finishes about the same
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe closer to medium bodied; somewhat sessionable; very smooth along the tongue with barely anything distracting anywhere; low carb and low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: though I'm not always a "full blown fan" of the style, I'd say this is tolerable to me even though there's a stronger lactose/vanilla tone to it than I was expecting.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: thick hazy burnt orange color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: tangerine to melon to passion fruity sweet hoppy tones with a light lemony and slightly honey-ish tone in the middle; subtle clean malts underneath
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet juicy to bittersweet juicy quality; finishes semi-juicy with some tangerine to lemony to honey notes
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper; some smoothness but also a little bit of noticeable hop bitterness - maybe just a bit under medium; good carb
Overall: pretty nicely done TIPA for the most part but if they get that hop bitterness assertiveness down a bit more this could be one of the extremely good ones!
