Sample at Vander Mill. Light gold body with little carbonation and aromas of apples and pine and earthy hops. Flavor is much more cider than hops but there is a bit of Columbus in the finish. It’s a bright and clean cider.

16oz pour at The Piggery in Chicago. Totally clear, pale gold with zero head. Nose is fairly standard, apples, some mild lemon, lightly earthy. Flavor is the same, crisp, mild honey, a little pear, but mostly apples. Lightly slick, lightly spritzy finish. Solid.

Yes, good overall cider experience, spices are not in yer face, goes over well. Aroma is mildly volatile apple. Decent co2 for a warmer brew. Yes, each end to a slug is not bad. Written in memory of cider tramp. At times the spices do try to come forward in the pecan or cinny. Over, hides the alky well, you’d never know this was 8%.

Location: 16 oz can at Three Acres, 6/9/14

Aroma: The nose is right on what they describe, pie-like: full of cinnamon, pecans, and apple
Appearance: The beverage pours a clear golden color without much head or lace to it
Flavor: It isn't nearly as sweet as you'd expect, nicely balanced, sweet, spice, and dryness
Palate: It has a decent feel, with a plus carbonation, minimal stickiness, and a light dryness
Overall Impression: I've never found anything in the cider category that I have enjoyed nearly this much. Honestly, I went into super skeptical. The combination sounds great, but I couldn't believe it. Bottom line, Totally Roasted totally works for me.

Draft at Olympic. From notes. Mildly sweet and mildly tart. Vary darn good. Not getting a whole lot of barrel character nut I’m digging it.
