Dark brown out with a small, but stable tan head. Aromas of port, redcurrants, oak, other redberries, cream, toffee. Taste is port, cocoa/chocolate, some roasted oak, vanilla. Good stuff.

Bottle from Café Derat, Utrecht. Lots of oak in the aroma with malt, wine, cognac, overripe fruits, caramel, red grapes, toffee. Flavour is sweet with a fairly dry finish. Body is above medium. Nice and rich with lots of wood and barrel notes.

Bottle from De Poort Van Kleef, Deventer. Aroma is roasted malt, caramel, salted liquorice, cocoa nibs, chocolate, and notes of coffee. Flavour is sweet with a fairly bitter roasty finish. Body is medium to full. Pleasant Stout, heavy on the roast and salted liquorice with chocolate, could be a little more full, firm bittersweet flavour. Good.

Bottle from Beerdome. Aroma is rather softly hopped with notes of strawberries, malt, light yeast, hint of grapefruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is light to medium. Very mild, a bit dull, decent.

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is stewed fruits, malt, caramel, overripe apples, alcohol, brown sugar, and dried fruits. Flavour is rather sweet with a little alcohol glow. Body is above medium with a slightly sticky texture. Very sweet.

Аромат радует, хмель европейский, немного сладкого карамельного солода и сухофруктов и даже коричневого сахара. Цвет красно темный, почти янтарный,полу прозрачный. Вкус со средней карбонизацией. Вкус во основе хмелевой, немного сухофруктов и карамели. Послевкусие больше медовое, с оттенками патоки. Имеется хорошая приятная хмелевая горчинка. В целом приятно удивлен данному экземпляру.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is citrussy hop with Soraci Ace bubblegum, zesty citrus peel, herbal hop, orange, lightly soapy, touch of mint. Flavour is medium bitter with a light sweetness. Light body. Bitter and citrus-forward.
