Description
Brasserie De Sutter was founded by two brothers, Antoine and Frédéric, passionate about beer and its production. In 2008, they embarked on recipe creation tests and after obtaining their degrees in agronomy and brewing, the first beers were born. Quickly reassured by the quality of their products, the brewers set up an artisanal production unit of 800 liters. In January 2012, it was the big leap towards controlled, higher-capacity manufacturing thanks to the move of the De Sutter Brewery in Gisors to larger premises with new, high-performance brewing equipment.

Bottle. Nice ahape of the 75cl bottle. Color: Hazy golden, large white head. Aroma: Malty with hoppy backbone, yeasty, fruity notes of stone fruit and citrus, hints of bread and cereals. Moderate to ovef moderate sweet, moderate bitterness. Medium body, below average carbonation. Ok but a bit too one-dimensional. No real excitement, besides of the bottle itself ;) ...

opalescent golden colour, huge, dense and long lasting ivory-like white head; aroma of lemony-lemon zesty, some wet wheat and sweaty notes; taste of hoppy bitterness, some lemon zesty, metallic, bready and cardboard notes...and this sweat-like thing, which makes it misearble; I don't really like its taste...it's almost undrinkably horrible

Tap at the quaint Teddy's in Paris, the first after completing the day's tourism. Slightly dark-amber with a glow and a small head. Solid triple with plenty of strength but plenty of flavour too. Hoppy, mild bubblegum and sugars.

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is strong candied fruits with banana candy, estery yeast, floral notes, honey, citrus, alcohol. Very sweet and sugary flavour with a little booziness. Body is above medium. Bit of an oddball French take on a Belgian Tripel, too sweet for my taste but kinda fun.
