16 oz. can. Canned: Dec 2020 from the brewery. Refrigerated entire time. Aroma is raw coconut with chocolate. Hints of roast. Flavor shows me plenty of coconut, hints of chocolate and roast. Body is silky with about the right body. Nice.

Tavecan: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, coconut, sugar. Taste is sweet, loads of chocolate, coconut, hints of coffee. Good.

Can purchased from Beertopia in Omaha and sampled later that day in my hotel room - hazy light gold - nose is highly grassy, lightly peppery, slightly citrus - light body and low apparent alcohol make this dangerously crushable - medium dry, moderately bitter, fairly dank - finishes dry with some citrus - as a previous rather noted, it drinks more like a “regular” ipa, but I am okay with that.

16 oz. can. The aroma is in sane. It smells identical to brownie batter. Coco, dark chocolate, and frosting. The flavor has dry cocoa powder, vanilla bean, and some light lingering chocolate after the sip. The body is full and the texture is dry but that’s mostly because of dry cocoa. Good but definitely better to split this with somebody.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a fizzy/creamy dark tan head that didn't last long. Aroma of toasted coconut and chocolate. Malt? Nearly full bodied. Flavor is chocolate, toasted coconut, vanilla, and finally some burnt malt. Not dry. Burnt malt bitter. Goes a bit earthy with time. Pretty decent flavor combination.

16oz can shared at the Spring DC tasting. Poured a really dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was big cinnamon notes, rum barrel. Woody, alcohol, chocolate cinnamon. Alcohol heat in the finish.

16oz trade pours a thick, opaque black with a ring of beige head. Holy apple pie nose! Seriously, brandy, candied apple, cinnamon, nutmeg even. Nose is sweet. Caramel. Flavor hits with a lot, charred stuff like wood and caramel and burnt apples, cinnamon is there, pepper too and it reads ancho more than anything. Caramel apples. Wow. Lots happening. Finishes full bodied, spicy, peppery, sweet, boozy.

Can. A- Dark chocolate, coconut, sweet, roasty. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Sweet, coconut, roasty, dark chocolate, slightly bitter. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish. O- This was good, but when you get used to having 12-14% Barrel Aged Pastry Stouts, this hits you a bit different. There was too much sweetness and it became a touch cloying by the end. Good flavor but it needed some coffee or barrel to help cut it a bit. Just didn't quite hit the mark that I expect from a White Elm stout. Still tasty though.

16oz can pours a thick black with a BIG cap of khaki head. Nose has cinnamon, malt, caramel, apple jacks. Flavor has the apple jack, more brandy than rum, maybe I read the spices wrong, malt, caramel, flan. Full bodied, spicy, boozy finish.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of coconut, wet stone. Pours motor oil black with a small beige head that falls into a ring quickly. Taste is moderately sweet with a light to moderate dark chocolate bitterness backing; finishes lightly dry. Nice, not too sweet dessert stout.
