Can pour from share with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is opaque black/purple, light sparkle at the edges of the glass, no head, viscosity/berry pulp and no lacing. Aroma is pleasant sweet blueberry and mild blackberry, milder graham cracker and vanilla. Taste is strong deliciously sweet blueberry with milder vanilla and graham cracker. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this is enjoyable. But, so is a milkshake. Am I rating this for how much I enjoy this/how it tastes or how good a beer it is? Because it tastes nothing like beer. I could score a non-alcoholic milkshake and give it a 4.0 based on aroma, taste, mouthfeel, etc. but is it a beer? I'm lost--this is like scoring a baking competition with a great piano player. I'll put grain alcohol into a milkshake if I want to pursue this trend.

16 oz can from the source. Aroma does have the blueberry, blackberry and graham cracker. Flavor without a doubt is all the adjuncts. However, is this really beer? At 4% ABV this is truly is a smoothie. Almost no tartness or sour character. Really pushes the boundaries of what beer actually is.

16oz can pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is chocolate coconut sweetness and some vanilla cream. Taste is more of the nice sweet milk chocolate coconut candy bar roast malts.

16 oz can a present from my daughter. Nose is nutty peanuts, chocolate, and a hint of char. Black with a small cinnamon tan head. Flavor is liquid chocolate covered peanuts and moderate sweetness.

16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, cap of foamy beige head subsides to thin ring. Candy bar aromas, coconut first, followed immediately by chocolate. Taste also begins with the coconut, then layering sweet chocolate before finishing with a bit of roast malts and a light bitter bite.

16oz can from Tavour. This is a pretty wild Imperial Stout - peanut butter marshallow - thick and tasty. Definitely meant to be shared as it's a lot to handle. Kinda cool though

12 oz. can. 2019 vintage. Flavor and aroma are a mirror. Sweet malts of caramel, toffee, raisins up front. Shows a mineral touch midway through mixed with mild syrupy texture. Finishes with dark fruits that again say “raisins” to me. ABV is hidden. This is a real nice example of the style.

Aroma is strong caramel. Taste is strong caramel and dark fruit, late mild grains. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, no surprises here. A good-strength, right down the middle barleywine. Taste beats aroma.

12 ounce can from Brookings (SD) Liquor, 8/8/20. Hazy orange, large foamy white head, good retnetion. Aroma of resin, grapefruit, pale malt, faintest bit of toast. Taste is grapefruit, pineapple, pale malt. Medium bodied, a bit watery, low bitterness.
