Description
Temporal Artisan Ales is a brewing project that is crafting delicate oak-aged beers in a shared space at Luppolo Brewing Company in Vancouver, BC. The beers we create are fermented 100% in our oak barrels over lengthy periods of time, imparting delicate complexity. Portions of separate barrels are blended to enhance specific characteristics unique to each barrel. Every beer we release has been meticulously crafted from start to finish.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out cinnamon upfront, followed by apricots, plums, and plenty of acidity. Flavour is quite dynamic, with lots of cinnamon, apricots, and a touch of wild yeast. Highly acidic, but fittingly so more or less. Solid.

Tasting at Erik’s; corked bottle
Cloudy golden colour. Mild aroma, delicate, pleasant, with fruit (yes, strawberries), jam. Dry mouthfeel, moderate acidity, mild funky touch, mild juice but can't be identified as any fruit, lemon, some astringency in the finish. The finish is rather short.
Balanced, not very complex, but well constructed.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy pale golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of honey, tart stone fruit, and overripe fruits. Flavour is along the same lines, with tart stone fruits, plenty of acidity, and fermented honey. Quite acidic and lacking much depth. Decent.

750ml bottle at Erik's. Pours a hazy golden with no head. Aroma is funky, some barrel and fruits. Taste is more prominent with strawberry notes. Moderate to high acidic. I would prefer less acidity. Ok.

Amber with a slight haze, and no head. On the nose, just a touch of pedio, and a sweet, jammy strawberry accent. No jammy anything on the nose. Just a big tartness and a light strawberry note. Assertive, maybe not as balanced as most of their others.

375ml bottle from the brewery. Pours a murky purple with a very weak head. Aroma is a bit funky, with raspberry and barrel notes. Taste is very acidic with lots of raspberries upfront. This one is good for those who like acidic beers. Unfortunately, my palate is not there (yet?).

375ml bottle from Luppolo. Pours a hazy golden with a weak white head. Aroma is very funky with wine barrel notes. Taste is a bit fruity, barrel notes. Moderately to high acidic. It is quite good, but a bit too acidic for me and not enough fruity.
