Description
We are Pomona Island. We have a passion for innovation and style. We wake up each morning and strive each day to create te finest beers on the... Nah, can you imagine if we actually spoke like that? We're just beer snobs and over-appreciators who thought we would put our (small amount of) money where our (big) mouths are.

The Brewery is Nick and Ryan, who started the Gas Lamp bar in Manchester CIty Centre (where you can always find our beers!), Gaz from Marble Brewery and James from Tempest Brewery.

The beer is all stuff we like to drink. Loads of sessionable new world hoppy pales, more traditional stouts and porters. Big Juicy IPAs, and some fun experimental stuff to keep us and you interested.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Slightly thin palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malt mouthfeel, sweet enough, a little too sweet for me. Cooling pine into perfumey candy fruits. Touch of Nelson, if you are looking for it. Soft and somewhat ripe citrus. Smooth finish. Overall too sweet in my book.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, a modest creamy sweetness. Sabro coconut and mildly ripe pineapple dominate the hops. Cooling pine of course. Mild citrus, reasonably bright but fairly watery. A light finish. Nicely Sabro but a bit thin and watery overall.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth pale malts, a forward creamy sweetness. Good cooling pine. Big candy fruits, getting a little perfumey. Mild stone fruits. Light and semi dry finish. Sweet but drinkable.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A pretty modest haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light smooth palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Soft smooth pale malts, a light but forward creamy sweetness. Dominant modern Mosaic candy fruits, sweet and a little juicy. Strata provides a mild fruity back drop. Light semi dry finish. Quite the candy job but goes down well

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild haze on this gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, sweet enough. Pretty perfumey back end, like the candy element of modern Mosaic but, on steroids, touch of soap. Crisp cooling pine. Some smooth citrus and a little peel on the back end. Light semi dry finish. An odd duck.

The full moon just passed before consuming this beer was called the Wolf Moon. This beer passing into me is purple coloured with fair amounts of dark and red berries available within a light sourness, available in both aroma and taste.

The beer name is exactly what I was thinking when it was served to me! A hazed paler golden coloured cask brew with passionfruit dominant in taste, apricot gets more of the light aroma.
