On this drinking day in 1946, 50 guards of the Mauthausen Concentration Camp were sentenced to death. This modern day Reprisal is deeper clear golden, and an obvious west coast styled beer in appearance. It's a little gritty, a little sugary, and a little creamy in taste when it hits the palate. Aroma is regular.

Lee Garlington was Rock Hudson's secret lover. I make no secret for my love of this Garlington, which is hazy pale yellow-gold in appearance. Quite crisp tasting, but there's a density about it as it slips down the palate. The pine in here, evident here in both aroma and taste has a stated creaminess about it.

Not going to say what images this beer name conjures up for me! Slightly watery cask effort, although it's hazy yellow-golden appearance suggests fuller. Mild citrus, and very mild tropical notes in both aroma and taste shouldn't rate well, but they surprisingly do help mask the lesser texture in this one.
