Description
We are Pomona Island. We have a passion for innovation and style. We wake up each morning and strive each day to create te finest beers on the... Nah, can you imagine if we actually spoke like that? We're just beer snobs and over-appreciators who thought we would put our (small amount of) money where our (big) mouths are.

The Brewery is Nick and Ryan, who started the Gas Lamp bar in Manchester CIty Centre (where you can always find our beers!), Gaz from Marble Brewery and James from Tempest Brewery.

The beer is all stuff we like to drink. Loads of sessionable new world hoppy pales, more traditional stouts and porters. Big Juicy IPAs, and some fun experimental stuff to keep us and you interested.

Panda from Colin. Cheers. Hazy dark gold. Frothy foamy translucent white head. Aroma has stone fruit sweetness and a dry citrus sour edge. Flavourwise it's initially sweet and juicy, sugary, before a bitterness sweeps through. Sour edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft lazily fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable HPA.

Can. Pours slightly hazy darkish straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with touches of spruce and malt. Bitter, hoppy and piney flavour with notes of citrus and sweetish touches of malt, fruit and yeast. Bitter and citric aftertaste with fruity touches. A nice one.

Can, 7.1%. Good fruity and juicy aroma with notes of grapefruit. Hazy dark golden colour. Fizzy and unstable white head. The flavour starts off surprisingly bitter with notes of grapefruit. Also a little sweeter than expected with some acid to balance. Rather in-your-face, but clean and nicely flavourful.

Garçon DOES mean boy, only in modern parlance does it mean waiter. A hazy paler golden coloured and noticeably carbonated brew. It has initial tropical tasting American hops, which relent to produce a full-on pine aftertaste that lingers with a small dryness.
