Description
We are Pomona Island. We have a passion for innovation and style. We wake up each morning and strive each day to create te finest beers on the... Nah, can you imagine if we actually spoke like that? We're just beer snobs and over-appreciators who thought we would put our (small amount of) money where our (big) mouths are.

The Brewery is Nick and Ryan, who started the Gas Lamp bar in Manchester CIty Centre (where you can always find our beers!), Gaz from Marble Brewery and James from Tempest Brewery.

The beer is all stuff we like to drink. Loads of sessionable new world hoppy pales, more traditional stouts and porters. Big Juicy IPAs, and some fun experimental stuff to keep us and you interested.

Ayrshire Coastal Walking Mini Break Beer#38. The penultimate beer of the mini-break on the way home. Hazy golden-juice appearance. It has mild pine in aroma, but quite a lot of citrus amongst pine in taste, providing a citric bitterness here.

Ayrshire Coastal Walking Mini Break Beer#36. More transiting across Manchester stop off brews on the way home, starting with this west coast pale, a clear golden colour. This one is sweet-hoppy in design, with the underlying tropical fruits providing the light sweetness found within.

Can picked up from Drankgigant.nl and consumed at home Sunday 1st February 2026 after a lovely loop walk to Brotjackelreigel and beer (or two) in the tower. We've got Chicken Meatballs with Orzo for tea tonight. Pours hazy yellow with a mid/large white head, nice fizz on the tongue, hoppy nose, easy drinking pale ale, I like it more than Loz but tbf Loz actually wanted a Duvel Tripel Hop so perhaps wanted something a little more in yer' face. Nice soft mouthfeel, great hoppiness, juicy I like it. Score 7.5
