BIB (bag in box) at Crown, Crewe (not listed in RateBeer - doesn't deserve to be !). Pours golden yellow with no head. Moderate cvherry sensation in the aroma. Same but more pronounced cherry in the mouth, with just a little apple to balance. Far too sweet for my tastes.

Keg at Greyfriars, Reading. It's sweet apple juice, pure and simple, no trace of alcohol or cideryness. Definitely sweet and not medium; if they call this medium I can't imagine how sweet their sweet cider would be. Quite enjoyed it though, it's pretty easy to drink and was a nice thirst quencher half way through a pub crawl.

Cask @ Baum, Rochdale. Hazy with light orange citrus in a sweet cider, although never gets too stated, but remains flavoursome with its fruit.

Bladder box at the Alex, Derby, 11/02/22. Light haze on a golden yellow pour with a thin white covering. Nose is lemon zest, apple peel, straw. Taste comprises much the same, lemon drizzle, hay bale, apple pulp, tangy citric zest, bitter sweet. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. OK if a touch on the sweet side.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a hazy pale straw and has an aroma of wet earth. In the mouth it is very sweet with flavour of crisp apples and peel. Eventually some dryness does begin to appear, but this is by no means “medium dry”. It’s pleasant and drinkable, but not much else can be said in its favour.

BIAB: Poured a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is lemon, apple, vanilla. Taste is literally like a lemon meringue pie, so tasty.
