Box @ Boot. Misty yellow appearance. Sweet, sugary apple nose. Light, juicy body. Seems artificially sweetened but has a little more character than expected with mild scrumpy hints and boiled apple sweets finish.

Cask @ Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale. Hazy golden-blonde coloured. Perhaps a little more sweet than being specifically black cherry sweet, but the fruit itself is prevalent in both aroma and taste. It has an easy texture given its easy drinking strength.

Cloudy gold with a tiny bubbly white head and passion fruit on the nose. Sweet passion fruit and soft, slightly tart apples in the taste, errs towards sickly sweet but just about reins it in

5/8/2022. From BIAB at GBBF 2022, day 4. Pours clear very pale golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of apple juice, caramel, light funk. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light tartness. Moderate body, oily and watery, soft carbonation. Quite good for its abv.

From cask at The Lyric, near Piccadilly Circus with my brother and his family after doing the Karl Marx walking tour 14.08.22. Cloudy pale pear colour. Fine aroma and taste of red apples and pear peel. Dangerously quaffable.

Draught at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Light yellow, mostly clear and still. Big tropical fruit aroma, a bit artificial but still quite nice. Sweet taste with passionfruit flavour. It's incredibly sugary sweet but somehow keeps that wonderful tangy cider 'bite'. Sugary tropical fruit in the long finish. Flat body. A fun drink.

Bladder Bag at GBBF '22 day 4, 05/08/22. Lightly hazed golden orange with a thin off white cap. Nose is juicy apples, grains, sweet notes. Taste comprises sugars, mellow apple presence, light tannins, perfume. Medium to light bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Not bad at all for the low ABV ... although does drink rather like a breakfast apple juice ... not sure of that's a good or bad thing!

Hand-pulled half-pint in The Boot Micropub, Wellington Shropshire on 3rd August 2022. Light coloured cider (very light when you consider the blackberries), taste a pleasant combination of the two fruits; neither sweet nor dry.
