18/3/2022. Bottle from Hoptimism. Train beer on the way to a day out in Northampton. Pours clear dark gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, hoppy, citrus, floral. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Oily. Average carbonation. Decent helles.

18/3/2022. Bottle from Hoptimism. Train beer on the way to a day out in Northampton. Pours clear dark amber brown with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma is smoky, meaty, wood-chip, malt, bonfire. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, quite fizzy. Good, though not really a style I relish.

Foamy tan head left a creamy cover on a dark brown body. Coffee, malt & berry aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on the tongue with a lively cloying back. Coffee, malt, bitter, roasted & acrid tastes with nicely hopped tangy finish. Good one.

Bottle from Hoptimism and Day 11 of the advent calendar. Deep amber colour with an off white head, and a big maltiness. sweet and smokey. Crisp body.

33cl bottle, possibly from the Beer Garage but might've been somewhere else. Appearance - golden yellow with a nicely proportioned white head. Nose - corn, biscuit, crisp malts and a light herbaceous or grassy note. Taste - lemon, light floral and again biscuity malts. Palate - light bodied, dry and crisp bitterness. Overall - great example of the pils style.

On tap at Craft Beer Junction Bermondsey Hazy pale brown amber colour. lasting attractive off white head. malty biscuit aroma. Good marzen lager. bitter malty. slight herb. very drinkable mid brown lager. top notch lager from an up and coming UK brewery. excellent. liked it.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours clear yellow with a frothy, white head. Light-medium sweet flavour with a lovely, fresh, doughy biscuit character, minimal bitterness, some white bread, hay. Light bodied with airy, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more impressively rich, fresh bready malts, pale biscuits, just a nip of bitter hay. This is great stuff.

Bottle from the Beer Garage. Appearance - hazy yellow with a nicely proportioned off-white head. Nose - lemon, cornflour, saffron and meadow flowers. Taste - lemon, saffron again, light floral bitterness. Palate - light bodied, light and well measured bitterness. Overall - I really like this.
