Small, off-white head over clear copper beer. Smoked nose, smoked food (not necessarily chestnuts), tarr. Light smoked beer with a bitter almond finish. Faint sourishness, difficult to pinpoint. Very light MF, certainly for its ABV. Soft carbonation. I like smoked beers, and as some very good Italian examples prove, roasted chestnuts can give very tasty beer - but this one turns out to be a bit light. Not bad, but beefing it up a little would do no harm at all! Txs to Joren for bringing!

Appearance: Dark orange golden. Starts clear, ends murky. Decent, white head. Aroma: Medium to dark fruits. Some hops, but not much. Pale malt. Taste: Pale malt, medium fruits. A bit of hops. Low, lingering bitterness. Bought: Amstein, 330 ml, CHF 2.74 Info: 31/12-2022, BB: 31/12-2023

Not much head to speak of, hazy ochre-yellow beer, not very carbonated. Intensely fruity nose, guave/passion fruit, chalk and whiffs of fruityoghurt. Bitterish, again chalk, and fresh, mild garden herbs. Fells better carbonated than it looks. Bit (fruit)slick; bitterish notes keep hanging out for long. Not bad at all! Txs to Joren for bringing!

Bottle. Rather clear dark amber to brown color with eggshell head. Aroma is resinous, caramel, chocolate, nice fruity hops too. Taste is berries, quite fruity, chocolate and caramel again, good amount of hops, bitter and sweet finish. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Not exactly Irish I'd say but pretty nice.

Stable, small off-white head over fully hazy orange-ochre beer. Citrus, lims, Bergamotte oil, with volatile, aromatic fruity and vegetable aromas. Earl Grey tea², Bergamotte oil, the kaffir lime squared; bitterish, light sourish flashes, no sweetness. Oily, resiny, yet refreshing. Good carbonation. Quite original. The kaffir lime dominates - maybe a bit too much - but overal pleasing and interesting. Txs to Joren for bringing!

very hazy pale orange colour with a huge amount of pinkish floating particles, moderate sized ecru-ish white head; aroma and taste of moderate guava, lemony-lemongrassy, peachy, slight floral and sugary-biscuity notes; would be refreshing in a hot summer afternoon

hazy orange to amber colour, medium sized yellowish ecru head; aroma and taste of maracuja, some passion fruits and meh... I am seriously disappointed! Is it really a big deal to add some fruit juice to a lager?

33cl Fles van Il Fermento Lugano. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Gebrande mout, chocolade, drop, caramel, bitterzoet, wat koffie, licht fruitzuurtje. Medium body. Degelijk.
