as a Gure Sagardoa. Alc was 6,5% ABV. cydr w smuklej buteleczce, etykieta fajnie przypominajaca regionalne i lokalne wina, spora metnosc, malo gazu, aromat dziki, skwaszonych jablek. w smaku srednio ukwaszona kapusta z dodatkiem nie w pelni dojrzalych domowych papierowek, agrest i biala porzeczka, dobre, wytrawne i kwaskowe. tak jak lubia tygrysy.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out musty grape skins, light funk, and a bit of champagne-like mustiness. Flavour is on the tart side, with musty apple skins, apple core, medium tartness, and only light funk. Not a lot of depth or complexity, but the apple comes out nicely. Good stuff.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy yellowish blonde with a very small white head. Nose reveals a moderate barnyard funk, with plenty of horse blanket, and dry musty apple skins. Flavour reveals musty, dry apple skins, moderate tartness, apple core, and a bit of horse blanket. Finishes tart, musty and fairly dry, though there is a bit of residual sweetness. Nice depth, but there are more complex Spanish sidras out there. Good stuff.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a hazy yellow with small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong pear, apple, floral, lemon zest. Thin body, similar flavors to nose, light tartness, very good.

Oppsummeringsmøte med oppdatering av lagerstatus om bord på Fridtjofen, skibsreder, skogsmatros og undertegnede er fortsatt høyt motiverte for tomflaskeproduksjon. Etter superbe produkter fra Hardanger er vi nå spent på om denne er i samme liga. Det er den på ingen måte, den har en kunstig, sursyrlig aroma og smak. Hipsterfaktoren er sikkert skyhøy, men ærlig talt - dette er ikke rare greiene. Hva i all verden har lønnesirup i en cider å gjøre (kanskje bortsett fra å høyne fortjenesten)? Hint av jordkjeller og lappesaker for sykkel. Shame on you, Lervig!

Bottle shared with Holmen1 and JFE on board Fridtjofen 08.09.20. Muddy straw colour. No head. Univiting aroma and taste of sour tropical fruits, wild yeast, solvents and rubber. For the hipsters.
