Description
Cellarmaker Brewing Company has been in the works for quite some time. Look for our beers to start making their way around better known beer bars and beer focused restaurants in San Francisco starting in September.
We have a tasting room in the same building as the brewery and will offer tasters, pints, and growlers. Some beers may be bottled further down the line but for now it's all draft. The only way you can take our beer away is in the form of a growler - which by the way, is a great way to drink beer!
Look for a focus of plenty of hoppy beers, belgian-style saisons, dark beers, and sour beers. We are huge fans of wine and bourbon barrel aged beers as well so it's only natural for us to have a barrel program. Think bourbon barrels loaded with big chewy imperial stouts, excessively hopped IPAs, fruited sour beers, and funky saisons. This is what we love. This is what we are all about. We hope you are too!
Please follow along for the ride as we build San Francisco's next great brewery.
Cheers!

Love the Nelson dose here. It's pretty well blended with the other hops but still sticks its head out. Grapefruit and light pine. Pours murky yellow with decent head. Light bitter end. Tap at Dominion.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Hazy yellow gold color. Large, frothy white head. Fragrant tropical fruit aroma. Notes of ripe pineapple, mango, orange and peach. Bready malt flavor is balanced nicely by a cacophony of tropical fruitiness. Notes of grapefruit and pine, lemon, orange and apricot abound. Soft, juicy and approachable. What more could you ask for?

Nonic pint glass draft at Cellarmaker House of Pizza in San Francisco, California. The pour is mostly clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is soft, dank citrus, resin, along with a bit of pine. The taste is very much a West Coast IPA bursting with resin, dank, citrus peel and the pine is dry along with a mineral finish. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation, an unfiltered mouth feel and the resin dank finish. This was very fresh.

0.473l can. Aroma of mango, passion fruit and citrus. Pours hazy golden color with off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts juicy tropical fruity and resinous, following is bready and herbal with orange note, mouthfeel is rather dry and quite astringent, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Haze of the day…
