Medium white slightly coarse head. Deep golden body with carbonation. Oily fruity toffee aroma with herbal notes. Dry wheaty herbal grassy taste with salty butter notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, fizzy mouthfeel. Dry salty buttery metallic aftertaste with grainy notes. Not really very nice. (0.35l can from Lawson in Ichinoseki.)

Can. Pretty enough gold color with a low head. Malty nose, light caramel, biscuits. Between a helles and a bock, without much hop aroma. Malty flavor, not much hop flavors, tingly, peppery finish though, gives up some hop bitterness. Nice balance. Decent, though could be more original. Drinkable with nice body. Good train beer.

Can. All-malt, decoction mash, late hopping with hellertauer. They are going out of their way on this 6.5% lager! Nice noble hop nose, grassy, with bready malts. Deep, clear gold with a high, super-fine head. Looks nice. Sweet and malty, very rich with low bitterness and some grassy hop flavor. Biscuity and rich, bock-like, somewhat actually. Reasonable bitterness in the finish trying to balance. Actually pretty decent, though just a bit too sweet.

Can. Absolutely mind-boggling head, tan and fine, on a bit of dark brown beer. Rather nice aroma of chocolate, cream, nuts, caramel grains. Chocolate mqlt flavor, cafe au lait, caramel, vague fruits, nuts, something a bit medicinal. Light body. Not as terrible as it should be, though it has a strange syrupy finish that is unpleasant.

Bottle: drank out of the bottle did not pour, but seemed clear. Aroma is grassy and grains. Where is the malts? All i could taste was bitter grass and weeds.

Saw it as a Japanese lager and avoided it for a long time for the same reason. Actually has a decent hoppy head and an unpleasant finish. Tall can.

Thinnish golden coloured body with a very thin white head on top. Aroma of sweet honey, jasmine, light hops and not much else. Light-bodied; Strong sweetness in the flavour with honey and tea at the end and a very mild taste - quite nice, actually. Aftertaste is not harsh at all, light malt comes through with a touch of sweetness - nice! Overall, a decent beer, definitely worth trying if you are here in Japan. I sampled this 33 cL can purchased from a grocery store in Akasaka, Tokyo, Japan on 03-August-2010. Cheers Radek for being the only other one to try this beer - Na Zdrowie!
