Gedronken tijdens vakantie in Frankrijk. Donkerrood bier met weinig schuim. Aroma van krieken en donker fruit. Smaak is zuur van krieken en bitterzoet van pruimen, rozijnen en hop. Nasmaak is bitter/zuur en toch plakkerig zoet. Het heeft een vreemde bittere bijsmaak; een beetje snoep achtig.

Lichtbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet, krachtig warm en kruidig met iets van graan, wat abrikoos, bloemen en een lichte prikkeling in de mond.

Dark bitter. hints of grain, lots of neutral bitterness. Quite rich for the 1.8%. Bitter malty in the back, caramel, bitter, nice. On tap at Toogoloog Middlekirke. Hazy amber copper colour. Lasting white head. Hoppy aroma. Slightly softer than regular Hommelbier in mouth then this explosion of hops on the finish. Some harsh bitterness. I mean good Big hop. The free cheese took some of the harshness away. Went well with the cheese to be honest. Good beer. Has some gun metal oil from fresh hops like a green hop beer.

Bottle at Cafe des Bains De Panne. Hazy amber colour lasting white head Light earthy hoppy aroma. Yep that's a tasty full on blond. Some alcohol is present. Good spicy hop on the finish. Goes well with my croque monsieur boom boom. Tasty

Fruity woody nose. The beer starts full bodied and fruity. Banana, plums, raisins. Deep malty, not much bitterness, hints of grain. Really easy to drink, nice depth.

Appearance: clear gold with a moderate white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma and taste: cracker malt, grassy and spicy hop. Light dweet, solid bitterness. Mouth feel: medium body, soft to average carbonation. Overall: OK.

Auch dieses Bier leiß ich einige Kollegen probieren, und den meisten schmeckte es auch, obwohl keiner wirklich etwas mit den netten hefig-kräuterigen Aromen anfangen konnte. Es ist durchaus süffig und hat ein schönes Aromenbukett nach weihnachtlichen Gewürzen. Das einzige was man verbessern könnte, ist dass es intensiver sein könnte und hinten schon fast langweilig wird. Dennoch ein brauchbares klassisches Belgisches.
