Capped 375 from Tavour. Pours orangey gold with a very slight head of mostly bubbles. Aroma has a lot of fruity esters. More than medium body. Flavor has stone fruits - very estery - with definite clove. Maybe a bit of banana. Yeast/spice works for me. Heat is detectable, but not annoying. Fairly towards dry and heat apparently stands in for hop bitter. Which makes the heat unobvious. Excellent ale.

375ml bottle from Tavour. Vintage 2023. 13.4% ABV. Pours a hazy chestnut brown with a creamy beige cap. Sweet toffee aroma hints at whiskey soaked raisins. Flavor is whiskeyish with notes of figs, wood and sherry. Mildly complex with plenty of strong alcohol heat.

Poured from 375mL bottle (abv listed as 21.51%; 2023 vintage; barrel 1: ex-sherry whiskey; barrel 2: CO single malt whiskey. Thinking this should be a new entry on RB, but will leave that to admins in charge of Colorado. Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Huge barrel character, mostly whiskey, with feint sherry backing, boozy top end, but well integrated, some roast malt underlay, but mostly just a showcase of the barrels. Enjoyable.

Bottle from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a minimal white head. Aroma of Brett and malt. Approaching full body. Flavor is pale malt, yeast and Brett. Some fruit. Not totally dry. Mildly bitter. Brett seems to be the thing here. The flavor is appropriate and good. Heat barely noticeable.

Bottle pick up today from the brewery - clear amber - presents more like a strong quad than anything else - nose of dark fruit, baked apples, sherry, bananas foster, mild apple cider vinegar, lightly peppery phenols - very sweet, bordering on sticky - flavor is as the aroma suggests, just with stronger phenolic character - light acidity and high alcohol warmth on the tail end - ain’t not saison, but it is an interesting, albeit rough, beer.
