Waxed, capped 375 from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a transient rusty smear. Aroma has an incredible aroma - complex - hard to pick things out - but I think the rye and tequila are discernible. Med plus body. Flavor is complex, but again I think the rye and tequila stand out. Nice burnt toast malt in support. Heat is hardly noticeable. Until looked for. It's lightly sweet, and lighty bitter from malt and heat. Quite exquisite flavor.

Bottle. 19.26%. Pours a copper hue with almost no head. A big malty boozy nose. Rich, toffee, caramel, sweet sugary malts. Big heat, but actually very drinkable. Sweet banana esters.

12 ounce can from Tavour. Number one with a bullet. Slightly hazed, honey gold pour. Frothy white head. Slightly bready malt aroma hints at citrus and cinnamon. Flavor is grainy malt with subtle notes of orange, cranberry and cinnamon. Light and refreshing.

Capped 375 from Tavour. Pours clear and ruddy with a slight tan head. Aroma of mild baked apple/cinnamon spice. Approaching full bodied. Cinnamon is the main thing for flavor. Apple? Hard to say. Malt for sure, but it's not strong. Something like orange zest. A little heat. Nothing stands out, and it's clearly not a tremendous ale, but it's very nice in a refined way.

375ml bottle from the brewery - viscous black pour - nose of chocolate, molasses, umami, vanilla, whiskey, oak, dried cherry, currant, raisin -slick mouthfeel, heavy body - sweet, but tempered by light acid and vinous tartness - chocolate, anise, vanilla, whiskey, umami, currant - warming, but not boozy - pretty delicious.

375ml bottle pours out amber topped with a small sand head. Nose is nice sweet caramel some burnt toffee. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts caramel toffee and a little spice.

375ml bottle pours out cola brown with some ruby highlights topped with a sand head. Nose is brown sugar heat pitfruit. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts pitfruit and booze.
