Growler from high Spirits in Middletown, NJ. Hazy light golden color. Small creamy white head. Faint light grassy hop nose with a hint of citrus.upfront, flavor is crisp and bitter with peppery notes. Hints of light grain, perhaps rye? Bitter grapefruit rind in mid taste. Citrus hops in finish. Refreshing and very drinkable.

Can. Pours cloudy pale golden, medium creamy white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is dank tropical, passionfruit, guava, spruce. Pretty dry, light bitter flavor. Juicy and tropical. Light body.

Location: Draft at the Brewery, 7/19/14

Aroma: Sweet and malty aroma, grains, some lemon/citrus, and underlying hop notes as well
Appearance: It pours a clear golden color with a small head and light lacing
Flavor: The flavor is similar, sweet malts/grains balanced nicely by citrus and hop bitterness
Palate: The body is fairly light and easy drinking, clean on the mouth, with a dryish finish
Overall Impression: I enjoyed this beer. Crisp, clean, and easy drinking. No major flaws for me. This isn't anything crazy, but it is something I could see hitting the spot in the right situation. (I'd like to apologize for using the word "situation" in a review of a Jersey Shore brewed beer.)

Growler thanks to Nick. Pours a cloudy yellow orange with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is faint coffee and floral. Medium mouthfeel with a nice light roast, chocolate, lingering dry finish. Good.

Location: Draft at Carton, 7/19/14, Rating #3900!

Aroma: The nose is bready malts, tomato, and some fresh herbal, floral, and onion hops
Appearance: It pours a slightly cloudy golden-orange color with a somewhat frothy head on top
Flavor: As described, with the saltiness, breadiness, tomato and cucumber, and onion/garlic hops
Palate: The body is fairly light, but not watery at all, just clean, crisp, and refreshing
Overall Impression: This doesn't make a ton of sense as a beer, but it totally works. I was surprised to have enjoyed it as much as I did. For an all Carton day at the beach, this would session very nicely as a less hoppy alternative to Boat (which is a great canned pool beer). Maybe they'll can this one too next summer.

Aroma: The aroma is lemon, wheat, a little spice, and some grass notes as well
Appearance: It pours a golden color with a thick white head and some decent lace
Flavor: The taste is much the same, some wheat/malt sweetness, spice, and a mid-bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a fairly clean finish on the mouth
Overall Impression: Overall, I thought this was a pretty nice beer. The hop profile works here to balance out the sweetness and create a more balanced beer than one might expect.

Growler from Joe Canal’s in Lawrenceville, NJ. Hazy gold color. Earthy malt nose with grassy hop notes. Flavor is dry upfront with toasted malt and bready notes. Some noticeable saltiness and a garlicky nuance. Didn’t pickup the tomato or cucumber so much. Refreshing and flavorful, certainly unique.
