Location: Draft at Barcade JC, 2/7/15
Aroma: The nose is sweetened coffee with some lactose
Appearance: It pours a slightly cloudy orange, with a small head, and drippy lace
Flavor: The taste is clean and sweetened coffee, this one is really quite good
Palate: The mouthfeel is smooth and clean, soft carbonation, light heat
Overall Impression: Yup, I really enjoyed this. The flavor is right on. The alcohol is well hidden. I have to say, this is a good way to start the day with a buzz.

32oz growler from the brewery pours a murky black with some thin, creamy off white head. Nose has quite a bit of booze, burnt caramel, some soy sauce, a little worcestershire too, some malt, licorice, molasses. Flavor follows right along, boozy, sweet, lots of umami notes too though, burnt caramel, some dark chocolate, a little tiramisu, Kahlua, burnt coffee, dark rum. Full, sticky finish.
