Bottle 75cl. [ As Jopen Rock n Roelbier ]. Unclear medium orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, and a warm chilli burn in the finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090320]

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an almost clear golden with a dense and lively off-white head. Dry, Brettish aroma. Medium body, dry and fruity with some yeast accents and an astringent Brett-like note. Very dry finish. 140509

300ml Bottle - Hazy golden in colour, with a small white head. Spicy and slightly musty aroma with hints of lemon and herbs. Interesting taste, with spice and hints of lemon and tea, accompanied by some herby elements.

Draught, De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Black colour with a medium, lingering tan head. Sweetish, malty aroma. Pretty thin body. Coffee notes in the flavour which was a bit roasty and a bit dull really. Not feeling this one hugely.

Bottle at de Wildeman, Amsterdam, 06-06-09 Pours hazy amber with a white bubbly head. Aroma I found to be a touch artificial especially the sweetness. Soft in the mouth, its definately hoppy but there is a cloying sweetness, with honey dripping through and the malt and alcohol also in evidence. A6 A3 F7 P4 Ov13 3.3 Had this again Purchased at a Mitra off licence, Amsterdam, Netherlands consumed at Isobels, Dinmore, Herefordshire, 14.10.11 Pours mid gold with a sticky white bubbly head. Quite soft a with a hoppy up frontness to this. Little yeasty, little fruity, good beer. A6 A3 F7 P4 Ov14 3.4

300ml Bottle - Dark brown, with a small head. Malty and slightly fruity aroma with roasted malt and a hint of chocolate. Roasted and slightly chewy taste with malt, dried fruiit and hints. The finish is chewy, roasted, malty and slightly sweet. There is also a slightly spicy kick in the finish. Very drinkable and slips down easily.

300ml Bottle - Black in colour, with a tan head. Roasted aroma with coffee and plain chocolate. Roasted and hoppy taste with plain chocolate and coffee, followed by a roasted and slightly hoppy finish.

Bottle, shared by Fonefan. It pours a hazy, yellow-golden body with a fingerthick off-white head. Slightly sourish nose, fruity and chalky, in a quite nice way. Fruity and chalky flavor with a herbal hoppyness. Medium to full body, a bit sourish. Some bitterness. Bitter finish. Wondering if this one was off, but it was still nice. Nothing more though. tap at Arendsnest in Amsterdam - Pours lightly hazy straw colored with a lingering white head that laces well. It has a pretty mild pale malt and hop aroma. The flavor is moderately hopped with a good balance of bready malt. Medium bodied and lively on the palate, it has a pleasantly bitter finish.
