Bottle: Poured a clear but brown red color, head is an off white medium size. Aroma is a bit sour and woodsy. Taste is a burnt caramel malt, finishes with that sourness.

Bottled(300ml). -as Jopen Haarlems Hoppenbier
Pale golden coloured, huge airy white head, pleasant hoppy nose. Lively carbonation. Slight malty, very hoppy, light fruity and quite spicy taste with lemony herbal notes in the finish. Really nice surprise.

Bottle from a gift pack. Purple/brown colour, thin head. Aroma of herbs, alcohol, spices. Reminds me of cough syrup, just like the flavours. Herbal, medicinal, spicy, chocolate, malts, slight bitterness. Very complex, rich in taste and definitely something different. Very good.
