Description
Lucky Bucket is one of Nebraska’s oldest craft breweries, we tapped our first beer in January 2008 with the debut of Pre-Prohibition Lager which, along with Certified Evil Imperial Stout have been stalwarts on taps and shelves across Nebraska.
From our first beer Lucky Bucket has always been interested in pushing the craft market by looking for the unexpected, from using old recipes and exploring forgotten styles, to trying new ingredients and experimenting with different styles.
Although there are some changes afoot we’ll promise you that you can find your old standbys as well as rotation of new options whenever you come by the taproom.
From the taproom, to the bar, to your back deck, at Lucky Bucket our goals have always been simple, to create high-quality beers that people can enjoy with friends and family no matter what life throws at you.

Draft at Ushitora. Hazy dark gold with a big soapy head. Cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg and clove on the nose with some grass as well. Taste is quite similar with a little bit of sweetness that comes out. Fairly well-balanced between spice and sweet. Peppery finish.

On tap at CBB. Lucky Bucket Spring Break Saison 5.3% 17 IBUs A lovely honey light gold with an eggshell white head of foam. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel. The nose is Italian spices, I get oregano & a herbal aroma from it. The taste is dry, semi-sweet & spicy with oregano, a bit of cinnamon and lots of herbal sweetness. An interesting take on a saison.

On tap at Watering Hole. Served in a shaker pint. Hazy amber color with a slight head. Big pine needle and citrus hops on the nose with aromas of toffee and caramel as well. Taste is more of the same although really well-balanced. Full-bodied with a slightly rich and creamy mouthfeel. A touch of caramel goodness on the palate with a nice dry hoppy finish. Solid IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 06 Aug 2015 at 19:41 - Score: 7

Bottle. A- Chocolate cake, cocoa, malty, slight smoke. A- Brown color, dark liquid, minimal head. T- Watery, chocolate cake, roasty, malty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- I read that Lucky Bucket hasn’t released a new beer in over 2 years to focus on making this one as a year around offering. If that’s the case, they need to spend another 2 years on it. It is horrible? No, but it’s an unusual beer that is just not that awesome either. Tastes like a water soaked chocolate cake with a weird roasted spiced after taste.
