Clear dark red brown to brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: very oxidized, lots of raisins, yeasty, alcohol, ester, weird and funky. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sourish start, alcohol, pretty bitter, soft roast, very dry, funky, weird. Aftertaste: sugary, alcohol, bitter, funky, a bit smoky, lots and lots of alcohol.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal vinoso. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla scarsa tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di caramello, miele, crosta di panettone, frutta secca, agrumi, spezie, arancia rossa, frutta passita, uvetta bagnata nel rum, rabarbaro, vino rosso, vino Porto, pepe, chiodi di garofano, liquirizia, mais cotto e vaniglia.

Keg at If It Ain't Much, It Ain't Dutch, Bermondsey 01/12/23. Deep amber with a good sized lasting beige head. Nose is fruit cake mix, hint of cognac, caramel, stewed fruits, sugar dusting. Taste comprises stewed fruits, dates, brown sugar dusting, toffee, spice, modest barrel. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Not bad if no wow offered ... more in the American Strong category than anything resembling an IPA (DIPA, TIPA or otherwise).

Reddish amber colour, white foam. A bit citrussy, herbal, malty. Not a lot of wheat detectable. Boring

Keg at If It Ain't Dutch, It Ain't Much, Bermondsey 27/10/23. Black with a khaki cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, rum barrel, molasses, sugar melt. Taste comprises toffee fudge, brown sugar melt, light roast, spice, rum barrel, dried fruit rinds, pinch of spice to balance. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Fun impy. Can confirm that the bottles rated some 18 months previously were clearly infected or off!

Syrupy dark amber colour, thin layer of foam. Sweet, boozy and syrupy, notes of dried fruit, marzipan liquor. Enjoyable sipper.

Dark amber colour, white foam, disappears quickly. Sweet nose of marzipan, raisins, dried fruit, toffee. Warming alcoholic finish. Sweet and sticky.

Dark brown colour, beige foam. Nose of caramel, dried fruit, smoke and peat. Well balanced, sweet, smokey and bitter. Good!
