7/10/2023. Bottle shared at Ulfborg. Pours black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is boozy, dark chocolate, roasted, caramel, nutty nougat edge. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness. Full bodied, very smooth and oily, low carbonation. Rich warming finish. Nice sipper.

ABV: 15.7%. Clear dark dark brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, nougat, chocolate, vanilla, barrel, caramel, dark chocolate, mocha. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, barrel, chocolate, vanilla, nougat, nutty, caramel, mocha - dark chocolate. Bottle @Ulfborg. Very dark red brown, oily, no head. Aroma has alcohol, nougat, some almonds. Bittersweet flavour, licorice, dried fruit, almonds. Solid alc warmth, nice.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. No head. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are chocolate, caramel, dried fruits, hops, roast malt and has a nice warming finish.

Crowlers, merci Vincent, lors de sa fête d'annif pour ses 50 ans. partagée avec Vincent, Isa, les deux Kevin et Thomas. Bière de l'anno 2018.
Brune foncée, léger pâle avec un col fin crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme est sur le malté pâle, caramel, barrique apporte de belles notes de vanille, le tout accompagné par un léger caractère tourbé.
Palais est malté avec une bonne douceur de de vanille. Caramel, chocolaté le tout accompagné par un léger côté fumé/tourbé. Sucre résiduel vient ajouter à ce caractère de douceur latente. Amertume du houblon reste en retrait.

Bottle. Amber colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is citrus, some mango, tropical fruits, rye and mild grainy tones. Flavour is rye bread, some tropical fruits, mild herbal, earthy and a bit metallic tones somehow. Kind of nice, apart from the metallic edge.
