Clear deep amber brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Decent dark toffee malts, a little creamy sweetness. Plenty of rum, traces of wood and vanilla. Spicy semi dry finish. Immature but purdy tasty.

Jälle gusher, mis toimub?! Õlu on magus, hapukas, linnaseline, nats alksi. Ok, aga selgelt emelisse mingi perioodi õlled on kõik veits off...
Järjekordne gusher emelisse ba seeriast.. Natuke hapukas, magus, mõru, röst, puit, šokolaad, linnased, alks. Ok, kartsin hullemat.
Korralikult suitsune, turbane, linnaseline, karamelline, puuviljane, magus, veits vesine, alkone. Hea.
Magus-hapukas ja vahtrasiirupine, karamelline, röstine, linnaseline. Ok.

Bottle. First white label for me that was not a gusher, great! more beer for me, less for the keyboard. aroma is fruity and sourish and tart, a bit like a belgian brune, quite refined and complex. hard to figure the individual notes, but i get dark dried ripe fruits, vineager, wild ale. Flavor is wild ale, licorice, faint fruity tart and sour note, burnt plastic. Not a super impressive flavor, it does taste like an infected ale, rather than a wild ale, although they can tend to taste similarly, not much barley wine over the flavor and the barrelling is not very easiliy detected, probably adds character nevertheless. some of what I get as burnt plastic could be charred wood from the barrel. perhaps they used a barrel that previously held plastic paint instead of a barrel previously holding Belize Rum. If i blind tasted this, I would guess smoked belgian double. alc. is well hidden.
Gusher :( Pärmine, magus, hapukas, linnaseline, nats räpane, hapukas, kuiv, veinine. Ok.

Tap at the Dutch tap,. A clear deep amber chestnut,. Aroma is big raw oak, woody, liquorice, vanilla, boozy wood, Cork, dirty brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, vanilla, cakey malts, dried fruits, raw woody tannin, barrel, spicy. A bit raw and unrefined. Lingering boozy,

bottle 14.08.2022 tasted 28.12.2023 super nice aroma centered around peat smoke and dried dark fruity notes. Flavor is dried dark fruity, peat smoke, charred wood, malts. This is a slightly fruity barley wine with an exceptionally delicious flavor where the quad like dried fruits and the peat smoke and the charred wood really really play well together.

bottle. BBD 17.07.22 tasted dec. 27 2023 this time I opened it in the kitchen sink, given my experiences with the first and that was a good choice. pours or rather gushes and settles as an unclear brown but sort of close to semi-clear brown, witha offwhite head. appearance 2 bc it came out of the bottle all by itself in an unorderly fashion. aroma is sort if in between barley wine, quad and a very fruity brune. aroma hints high alc contents, high complexity. I also get wood, booze, vineous notes. sort of perhaps like a barrel aged brune, leaning towards quad and barley wine. Flavor is tobacco, malts, quad like dried dark fruits, wine cellar, dark dried grapes, wood, fresh dark grapes, faint hint of vineagre, faint hint of bitter caramel. It tastes like it has more complexity and power than 9% alc. could just as well have been 13%. perhaps the gushing was bc of further fermentation in the bottle. If you can't decide between quad or brune or barley wine, this might be a good choice. Good sipper.
