Excellent bier :-) Nicely balanced. The aroma is smoky but hard to tell what it is. Burnt toffee? Great beer :-)

Bottle at T’ Arendsnest, Amsterdam, Netherlands 21-06-10 Pours cloudy amber with off white head. This is smokey with just a slight sweet sourness, bit of warmth from the alcohol. Fine. A6 A3 F7 P3 Ov13 3.2

12oz bottle-pours a light tan ring for a head and black/dark brown color. Aroma is roasty-dark malt. Taste is roasty/anise-dark malt, secondry earthy hops.

Bottle @ Pikkulintu, thx Hanniku. Poured copper color. Aroma was apple mostly. Fruity flavor, sweetish with a lemony feel to it at the finish. Quite bitter finish. Did not taste much alcohol despite the %. Nice one, have to search for more DIPAs, havent had that many yet.

Bottle, Pikkulintu, thanks Hanniku@Co. Poured hazy brown color. White small head. Nice aroma, quite malty and sligthly smoked. More smoke then in flavour, ash and hops. Not as good as the aroma promised. Ended slightly bitter.

(Re-rate, draught at Pikkulintu, 20111125) The beer poured brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, raisin and molasses. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, raisin and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A completely different beer from the bottled one. Nice barley wine.
