Pours a slightly darker brown colour with caramel hues, a decent beige head and a little lacing. Full fruity aromas with prunes, cherries, blackberries, dates and some nice herbal hops. Pretty nice bitterness in the taste over the cherries. Such a great fruity beer. Nice to see this available in bottles now.

Keg at Brasseur du Temps, Gatineau. Cloudy dark brown, small head. Tart red berries and caramel up front. Sweet with a vinous tartness. Medium-full bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Grainy malt, caramel, oaky tart wine, some marzipan. Mild milky finish.

Keg at Brasseur du Temps, Gatineau. Cloudy copper colour, mid sized head. Mild salami smoke up front. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Lightly juicy with bread and marzipan, smoked meat and just a touch of chili heat. Low bitterness. Interesting and quite complex.

Keg at Brasseur du Temps, Gatineau. Hazy deep amber, small head Floral nose. Dry with light body and clean mouthfeel. Some cookies, notes of raisiny malt. Light floral hops. Mid bitter finish. Pretty good for 2.4%.

Keg at Brasseur du Temps, Gatineau. Cloudy copper colour, small head. Light perfumy grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Caramel and cookies, some pine and grapefruit peels. Piney bitter finish. Edgy and caramelly IPAs is not my thing.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dark brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with limited retention and not much lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt notes with some grainy notes and light dry fruits. Taste is a mix of light dry fruits notes with heavy caramelized sugar with too much residual sugar notes and a grainy aftertaste. Body is full with limited filtration and medium carbonation with light warming alcohol notes. Lacking attenuation and balance and I was not too fond of the grainy aftertaste.

Bouteille 750ml. Couleur bourgogne foncé trouble, mousse moka pâle laissant un anneau sur les parois du verre. Arôme de malt caramélisé, datte, petits fruits rouges, essence d’amandes. Goût de malt caramélisé, fruits confits, alcool, légère amertume, cassonade. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen-dense.

Cask at Brasseur du Temps, Gatineau. Clear mahogany colour, quite rich head. Grapefruity nose with mild blueberry sweetness. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Gentle bready malt, grapefruit, hay and blueberries. Mid bitter finish. Really nice.

Keg at Brasseur du Temps, Gatineau. Cloudy golden, small head. Peach, bread and marzipan up front. Quite sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Spicy hops, syrup, guava and marzipan. A bit sticky with warming white pepper finish. Too sweet for a tripel in my books.
