Description
The brewery Fuglsang can rightly call itself Denmark's oldest family-owned brewery. Søren Christian Fuglsang founded the brewery in 1865, and today it is some of his great-grandchildren who, with respect for the craft and the raw materials, produce solid South Jutland beer.

The family also runs its own export malt factory, which is Denmark's largest and one of the few independents in Europe - it is the one that supplies a large part of the good malt to Fuglsang's beer.

[Thanks to 1st European Secret Santa]. Coppery colour with an off white head with good lasting. Aroma has notes oh hops, grassy and light caramel. Flavor has a decent bitterness, some bittery orange and light caramel. Dry mouthfeel in the final.

50 cl. can. Clear, light amber colour with a thin, white head. Sweet aroma with hay, bread and caramel malts. Some cardboard. You got to love that scent. Alcohol and sweet fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium body, creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Short sweet finish with alcohol, cardboard and sweet apples. Barely acceptable.

500 ml can. Murky, deep orange body with a nice, creamy off-white head. Mild aroma of wheat, caramel malt and chewing gum. Flavor is quite sweet, still refreshing, caramel malt, wheat and banana. Nice body and decent in aftertaste. OK dark wheat without anything extraordinary.

I picked this up in a can from a supermarket in Jutland, Denmark May 2013 consumed at home in garden Sunday 17th August 2013 Pours dark gold with large frothy white head, a touch hazy. Clean nose, a little metallic. Mid carbonation, little buzzy in the mouth, some mineral maltiness, again a little metallic, but despite this I actually thought this is a decent beer, I’ve had 3-4 of these now this summer and they’ve veen good. Bitter but also a steady sweetness, despite the relatively modest abv it tasted stronger. Good beer. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Can, 4.9%. Floral hop aroma. Clear dark golden colour, sparkling. Small stable white head. The flavour is subtle, hint of grain, but not bad. Floral hop also in the flavour. Low to medium bitterness.
