Description
«Atrium» is a Latin word meaning « entrance hall », a place from which we have access to other environments. The Atrium Brewery emanates from a passion for beer, from a strong will to attract other people towards a universe rich of stories, savors and flavors : this is what we are commissioned to do! Therefore we brew unconventional beers making use of high quality products only, carefully selected to lead to a unique sensory experience.

Juleafslutning i Ratebeer, Odense. December 2022 hos Mads. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of coconut and dark chocolate with a touch of boozy alcohol. Sweet, roasted flavour with chocolate and coconut. Very thick and sweet finish.

Pours very dark purpleblack. Small to no white head. Scent is sweet, candy sugar, dried fruits, roasted malts. Taste is full, cherry remains hidden, but delivers a fruity sense to the beer that would be hard to define when tasted blindly. Medium body, medium high carbo. Bit roasty. OK.

Flaska från Etre BXL-pack 2022 drucken med ölföreningen. Belgiska stout är mindre maltiga och blir lätt söta och sportiga. Deg stämmer även på den här pastry stouten på modiga 12,3. Men mest märks kokosen. Rostad och oljig. Dessutom kaffe, tonka, punchpralin och likörhodis med kaffe. Iver the tip är bara förnamnet men kul i små mängder. Glad att dela på 10.

One of the many (three dozen or so) Billie-themed beers, probably all one-offs, presented at this years’ BCBF. Thanks Frederik and his band for sharing this one on the train from Antwerp to Ghent! Egg-white, open, moussy head, hazy peach blonde robe with pale orangey tinge - 'white' stout indeed... Sweet and ‘desserty’ aroma of candy apple, vanilla indeed, white chocolate, Betterfood, ripe pineapple, pear, honey, almond to even marzipan, candied orange, touch coffee powder indeed – but remaining subtle. Sweet onset, candyfloss almost, candied orange, apricot jam and ripe pear, medium carb; almond- and white-chocolate-like flavours heavily resting on a biscuity and cereally, rounded malt core, fruity ‘candied’ sweetness continuing into a warming finish with low hop bitterness and liqueurish alcohol, as well as a spicy coffee accent. In itself a decent and well-constructed dessert beer, sure, but stop calling blonde beers ‘stouts’ please – that joke is not funny anymore…

25/XI/22 - 33cl bottle @ Mash of the Titans tasting, Gentse Biervereniging, BB: X/2026, L: VIII-04-21 (2022-1685)

Clear dark amber beer, small creamy bit irregular beige head, stable, a little adhesive. Aroma: nice, sweet, caramel notes, some ripe banana, dried fruits, little oxidized, yeasty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, lots of alcohol, yeasty, banana, a bit unpleasant. Aftertaste: sourish touch, spicy, alcohol, a bit sugary, banana, soft roast, a little hoppy in the finish. Where did all that tonka go? It’s all gone, such a shame!
