Bottle. Black. Massive sweet coconut, a lot of roasted malts, coffee, earthy, ash even, cocoa, blackberries. Solid sweet and bitter. Full bodied. Lovely, but I can’t drink more than a glass.

Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is tamelijk bitter met iets van chocolade, wat koffie en een wat ondefinieerbare smaak. Heeft iets weg van anijs of dille in de afdronk.

Couleur orange pâle, col blanc crémeux tenace.
Arôme sur un bouquet finement tropical, malté en retrait léger en grains avec un agréable bouquet de passion.
Palais est clairement sur une approche tropicale avec le fruit de la passion, le tout pour un côté 'sour' assez modéré, nettement plus que le caractère particulier/acide de la passion. L'apport de kveik confère un caractère moins rustique . Sympa mais sans plus.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, pretty much no head. Aroma is nutty, sweaty socks, mild spices and some yeast. Flavour is coconut, some alcohol, spices, some dried fruits and just super sweet. Strange impy in my books. No red line to keep it in line.

Bottle. Black with a cm of tan head. Very chocolatey brioche aroma with herbal and woody notes, modest roast, orange oil. So it tastes. Some alcohol, Bitterness is at a nice level but enters as an intrusion. Some nice spicy notes at the end. Good, if a little strong for what it offers.

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with a small white foamy head. Aroma is citrus, some strawberry jam and mild passion fruity elements. Flavour is sweet fruits, some mild tartish edge from passion fruity elements and also has some herbal tones to it. Smooth, and actually quite a nice body to it, considering the rather low ABV.

Bottled. Hazy reddish brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel, some spruce, yeast and mild red berries to it. Flavour is caramel, some spices, mild pine and spruce with some yeast and mild toasted sweet malty tones.

Bottled. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocoate, caramel, some spices, tonka beans, vanilla and some toffee too. Flavour is coffee, tonka beans, some xmas spiciness, mild vanilla and some dates with a mild touch of alcohol to it.
