29th May 2008. Smooth and fairly flat ale. Repressed fruit balances finely with the malt. Okay but would not want loads.

Cask from gravity at the Mermaid, St Albans, England on 7th November 2009, during a mini-festival at the pub. Pale gold with partly lasting white foam. Floral aroma with a touch of cheesiness. Excellent hop kick with grassy hop abounding leaving a bitter dry finish with just a touch of lemon on the tongue. A magnificent pint.

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw as well as a touch of spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and citrusy hops, leading to a dry, bitter, and orangey finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Cask, Gravity at Banbury Beer Festival, Oxon, 08-05-09 Pours mid amber with a white bubbly head, its in very good nick, really clear, looks great. Aroma is pure ’Chivers Old English Thick Cut Marmalade’ Taste is more of the same though a little thinner, alcohol is also present on the nose. Very fruity but good sweetness throughout, nice stuff.
