Trocken bitterer Malzantrunk, minimale Süße. Erhöhte Karbonisierung. Ab dem Mittelteil herber, die Malzigkeit verschwindet endgültig im Hintergrund. Wenig aromatischer Nachhall, wenig Karamell. 10/8/8/8/10/8

Heller, überraschend hefiger Antrunk. Frisch, angenehme hintergründige Bitterkeit. Süßlich getreidig, steigende Würzigkeit im Mittelteil. Herb würziger Nachhall. Die Hefigkeit ist zum Ende weitestgehend verschwunden. 10/9/10/9/12/10

Dunkel malziger Antrunk, eher mild. 7/9/9/8/11/9

Heller, herb getreidiger Antrunk. Trockene, grasig alkoholische Noten. Minimal bitter und würzig. Das Bier ist für 6,3% sehr mild, fast schon enttäuschend. Okay. 10/8/8/8/9/8

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko, thanks! Clear and shiny amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, mild malt and dried fruits in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, notes of alcohol and raisins with candy like sweet finish. Good bock.

Huge thanks Koelschtrinker! Lovely, lovely coppery-amber-reddish body, clear, with a tiny, slightly off white head. Nice light malty aroma, fruity, sweet, malty-candyish, a tad dry, but that’s a plus here. Taste... fresh, a bit on the sweet side, candyish, a bit on the orange side, with a dry maltiness underneath, vague brown sugar. There are more flavors associated with sweetness in beer than actual sweetness, and some of them actually work. Extremely light bitterish note, similar with alcohol. A well crafted, very well crafted strong lager indeed!

Dunkler getreidiger, angehaucth alkoholisch malziger Beginn. Süßlich brotig, malzig, vergoren bananig. Das süße Malz bleibt vordergründig, die Süße steigert sich dabei zum Schluss noch deutlich. 8/11/11/10/10/10

Euro2-Flasche( right from the source, kindly donated by MoritzF!!!): Golden, almost clear, creamy and lacy white foam, sweetish-grainy nose, straw and also a tinge of honey detectable; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied for a beer of 6.3%, but surely soft; short sweet-bitter finish, the announced ( on the label) Saaz hops are hardly detectable. Surely not bad, but all in all disappointing…

*Old rating. Best before 21.11.2011. Great and deep and fresh beer. Intense malty with caramelly malts, not too much bitterness, great malty moderate bitter aftertaste, dark fruit. Nice.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Mildly biscuity malty aroma with a whiff of caramel and honey, also a tinge of barnyard is detectable. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft and well-matured carbonation. Hearty, biscuit malt-character with traces of caramel, subtle fruity notes and shades of herbal hops far in the background; sweet malty and mildly bitter hoppy finish. Has got a tad more character than the usual Festbier. 02.III.16
