The bottle was leaking a deciliter in my baggage, so I have to open it without letting it rest a few days
It pours a cloudy deep blond color, with little head but nice lace. The aroma is light, cheesy and yeasty. It has a spicy flavor, the body is strong enough, but the yeast is probably too much, changing also the bitterness profile. Too bad for the accident; I expected more…

2011-05-06, bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Lausanne, Switzerland, 7-5-6-3-13=34
Amber color, hazy; medium sized head. The aroma has some fruity touch, but it’s also dusty and yeasty. Correct body strength; dry malt flavor with some caramel tone; the fruit character from the hops is delicate and very pleasant; it has a correct bitterness; but the final is too dry, almost weak. There is also a very light, suspicious, sourness.

2009-06-28, at Chez Moeder Lambic; Bruxelles
Amber color; creamy head. Wonderful American hop aroma, cheese, pine tree. The body is not strong, small, it has some caramel flavor, light fruitness. The final is too short.

Clear golden color. Funky barnyard, hay, honey, herbs and apples in the nose. Dry mouth, very well balance. Not overly aggressive in any direction. Lingering, honey, hay finish. Excellent.

(75cl bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a thick and moderately persistent blonde foamy head. Slightly sweet and delicately malty aroma with an aromatic fruity and zesty (citrus) hoppy aroma with aromatic flowery elements. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Dry mouthfeel, delicately pale malt profile with subtle fruity elements and a herbal as well as floral hoppy presence; dry and slightly bitter and floral hoppy finish with shades of malty sweetness far in the background. A very fine Saison (22.VII.09).

Bottle: Poured a clear bright yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of lightly funky ester with some nice Belgian malt and a dry hoppy finish. Taste is also dominated by funky ester and dry hops with a good malt backbone. Body is somewhat full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Well done even though mix between hops and funky yeast is not totally balanced.
