Description
Born in La-Roche-en-Ardenne and developed and refined in Ghent, this hoppy beer combines Walloon passion and Flemish perseverance. An exceptional Belgian product that owes its name to a Flemish and a Walloon Belgian. Independently of each other, they had the same inspiration. So they named the youngest descendant of the Belgian beer paradise… L’Arogante. More Belgian you can’t get!

Tap at Brewdog Brussels. Pours hazy golden Amber with a nice white head. Vey light floral/malt aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is Belgian spice, floral, fruit, pale malt. A slight pepperiness. Clean, dry, spicy bitter. Really more Belgian Ale than IPA, but that’s just me. Refined liquid.

Bottle at trollekelder ghent. Hazy golden colour with a frothy head which remains. Carbonation is intense. Aroma is refreshing and quite estery but mainly hoppy, grassy and floral. Mouthfeel is rather thick and carbonated, flavour is refreshing and estery, quite hoppy but balanced nicely with the malt. Quite fruity (citrusy!) and floral, a little grassy. Very nice Belgian IPA!

Bottle at home. Hazy dark orange with a big white head. Aroma is very fruity hoppy, grassy, citrus, weeds, light grapefruit and a little yeast and malt behind. Flavour is light moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not so Belgian as I expected from this.

Amber colored, unclear, medium white head, good lasting. Aroma is caramel, malty, fruits, floral and citrus hops. Taste is medium sweet caramel malt, some bread, fruits, citrusy and floral hops, bit peppery, medium bitterness, dry finish, good lasting aftertaste. Medium bodied, average carbonation, bit resiny. Surprisingly hoppy but still in the decent limits, good stuff!
